Saturday Night Steel shoot (SNSS)

Saturday Night Steel Shooting is where they get together after 5:00pm and shoot at steel reactive targets.  They practice drawing from the holster and rapid firing at the before mentioned targets.  They have their own NRA Certified Range Safety Officers on staff for safety.  If this is something you feel like you may be interested in then please click on the link below for more information.  They do their orientations for new shooters on the first and second Saturdays of the month only.  These orientations are done on a first come first serve basis so show up at 4:30 if you can as they start shooting with their regular members at 5:00pm and space does fill up.

Ladies Nights

Ladies Night is every Wednesday night here at the range from 5:00pm to 8:45pm.  This means that between those hours they get to shoot for free, as well as their eye and ear protection for free.  The only thing a woman needs to shoot here on Wednesday night is a firearm and an ID and ammo (if they are not buying it from here).  So ladies if you have that gun laying around that you are just dying to shoot, or guys, if you have that special woman in your life you want to get interested in the sport with you then Wednesday nights between 500pm-8:45pm is a great time to come on by.

600x Northern California Rifle & Pistol League

The purpose of the league is to encourage participation in air sports and international air sports. It is also to encourage the youth of today to learn the sport and maybe turn their attention to the Olympic sports. The main purpose is to encourage participation and shoot economically and improve one’s ability to make precise shots. The league currently meets on the third Sunday of each month from 9am - 2pm for meeting and competitions.

Range Safety Card Program

Our range safety card program is designed to make sure that everyone on the range has read and knows the rules of our range.  It is a thirty question multiple choice test that specifically goes over the safety policies of the San Leandro Rifle and Pistol Range only. It is free to take this test and it is open book (meaning we give you a sheet with the range rules on it).  It takes most people 15 minutes or so to get through this test.  It is not on basic handgun safety nor does any other certificate exempt you from the $10.00 penalty fee for not having this card (other then practicing law enforcement).  Once passed you have to pick up your card here at the range a week to ten days after taking the test.  So don't get caught having to pay an extra ten bucks, come on down and get the test done.  We do the testing on Saturdays between 2:00pm to 9:00pm and Sundays between 9:00am to 4:00pm.
