NRA MEMBERS' COUNCIL OF ALAMEDA COUNTY
will host its
FALL 2011 FUN SHOOT
An event specifically designed to teach novice and non-shooters about firearms
on
Sunday, October 16
at the San Leandro Davis Street Rifle & Pistol Range
Everyone is welcome!
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! There are four available time slots: 10:00 a.m.; 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. All attendees must pre-register for a specific starting time.

Be assured that we want you to have a safe, informative and fun learning experience hosted by our membership.
The only cost to you is the $10 per person range fee. We provide the training, guns, ammunition and eye and hearing protection (if you don't bring your own). You will experience:
· A $10 range fee (discounted from the usual $13)
· A firearm handling and safety class, conducted by an NRA certified instructor
· One-on-one instruction on the firing line
· The opportunity to shoot various firearms
· The free loan of hearing and eye protection for those that don't have their own
· A wonderful time
A note concerning minors: We can accommodate kids 12 and older. Range policy allows minors 12 to 16 to shoot rifles and those 16 to 21 to also shoot handguns if accompanied by an adult.

When you arrive, please check in at our NRA/Members' Council Fun Shoot table.
Anyone wishing to join the NRA or renew their membership can do so at the event for only $25, a $10 discount off of the normal $35 annual fee.

DIRECTIONS: Take 880 to San Leandro. Take the Davis Street exit and turn west (towards the bay) on Davis. Proceed down Davis to the very end (approximately the equivalent of three or four blocks), staying close to the right-hand curb. Following the right curb will direct you right to the range’s gate and parking lot. (Following the street centerline will veer you to the left, into the Waste Management lot.)
REMEMBER: RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED! All shooters must have reserved time slots. Available times are 10:00 a.m.; 11:00 a.m.; 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
