To our invited guests:

The NRA Members' Council of Alameda County wants you to have a safe, informative and fun learning experience hosted by our membership.

The event lasts about an hour and a half. The only cost to you is a $10 per-person range fee, payable to the range. We provide basic training, guns, ammunition and eye and hearing protection. You will experience:

· A firearm handling and safety clinic, conducted by a certified instructor

· One-on-one instruction on the firing line

· The opportunity to shoot various firearms

· The free loan of hearing and eye protection for those that don't have their own

· A half-price $10 range fee (discounted from the usual $20)

· A tasty barbecue lunch at a very reasonable cost, if you wish to indulge (all proceeds go to support the range's Junior Rifle Club program)

· A wonderful time

A note concerning minors: We can accommodate kids 12 and older. Range policy allows minors 12 to 16 to shoot rifles and those 16 to 21 to also shoot handguns if accompanied by an adult.

Everyone:

YOU MUST ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 MINUTES EARLY to allow for processing time. When you arrive, check in at the NRA Members' Council table in the parking lot. You MUST be on time for the safety class; late arrivals will forfeit their spaces!

If you bring your own firearm, make sure that it is unloaded and in a locked container. Inform our staff that you have a firearm when you check in.

Anyone wishing to join the NRA or renew their membership can do so at the event for only $25, a $10 discount off of the normal $35 annual fee. (And you get a cool NRA hat!)

For this event, both outdoor ranges will be closed for public shooting for the day,  The indoor range will be open for public shooting during normal business hours.  Thank you.
