Can non-US citizens operate firearms at the San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range?

Answer: No, unless one of the following conditions is satisfied.

1. Suppose you are not a United States citizen, possess a nonimmigrant United States visa (i.e., student or work), and have an exception listed below. In that case, you may operate a firearm at the San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range.

Exceptions to the Nonimmigrant Visa Prohibition include any of the following conditions.

• You possess a valid US hunting license or permit.

• You have been admitted into the US for lawful hunting purposes.

• You are an official representative of a friendly foreign government.

• You are a foreign law enforcement officer of a friendly foreign government entering the US on official law enforcement business.
